HSE Recruitment are working with the recycling business in Nottingham who are seeking a HSE Compliance Officer to cover two sites in Nottingham.

Reporting into a Director you will be given the freedom and autonomy to improve processes and standards across the company.

Being a small company there is a flat structure and ability to get things done quickly.

We are seeking a hands- on, dynamic, roll your sleeves up approach.

Someone who will be innovative, proactive, pragmatic and come up with cost effective solutions to problem.

Risks on site include; working at height, machinery, large cranes with grabbers, lorries and workplace transport, contractor control and confined space.

What we are looking for

NEBOSH certificate qualification as a minimum.

Experience across waste & recycling, manufacturing or production, something with a similar risk profile.

WAMITAB would be desirable along with EA permitting knowledge.

Must be hands on, able to build trusted relationships.

Dynamic, go-getter who can get stuck in.

Down to earth, proactive and pragmatic person who can provide simple and usable cost effective solutions.

This is a Monday–Friday site based role with working hours 8am – 4pm.

Salary on offer is £45,000- £60,000 dependent on experience.
