We have a fantastic new opportunity available for an Area Sales Manager to join a well-established, independent dealership of Construction Machinery. This is an organisation that has built up a strong reputation over the last 20 years. They have a strong product portfolio on offer and have built the business successfully by delivering an excellent customer experience.

Within the role of Area Sales Manager, you will promote both new and used machinery sales across the South of the UK, covering from the Midlands down to the South coast. You'll become an integral part of a close-knit team, be provided with plenty of product training, and have scope to earn well based on performance.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Manage, retain, and develop relationships with a new and existing customer base
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients through networking, cold calling, site visits, and strategic outreach.
  • Deliver high levels of customer service on behalf of the company, ensuring customer satisfaction is always achieved
  • Present and promote the full range of products and services on offer tailored to the client's needs
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, monitoring market trends and competitor activity.

Requirements of Role:

  • Previous experience in a Capital Equipment Sales role
  • Willing to consider anyone from a Construction Plant, Powered Access, Mobile Crane, Material Handling, or Agricultural background.
  • Must be a team player
  • Hold a UK driving licence
