Regional Sales Manager – Heavy Plant / Construction Equipment Location: South West England – Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire & Bristol

A leading supplier of heavy plant, construction equipment and specialist machinery is looking to recruit a Regional Sales Manager to take ownership of an established South West territory.

This is a field-based sales role focused on developing new business, growing existing accounts and building long-term customer relationships across sectors including recycling, waste management, construction, quarrying and material processing.

The Role Manage and develop sales across the South West territory.

Generate new business while developing existing customer accounts.

Sell a range of heavy plant, recycling machinery and specialist equipment.

Manage the full sales process from prospecting through to closing.

Conduct customer meetings, site visits and machinery demonstrations.

Understand customer requirements and recommend the right equipment solutions.

Maintain an active sales pipeline and work closely with internal service, engineering and support teams.

What We're Looking For Proven experience within field-based, territory or regional sales.

Strong new-business and account-development experience.

Experience within heavy plant, construction equipment, recycling machinery, material handling, agricultural machinery, quarrying equipment or a closely related capital-equipment sector.

Candidates from a genuinely transferable machinery or technical sales background will also be considered.

Confident managing your own geographical sales territory.

Strong relationship-building and commercial skills.

Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working independently.

Full UK driving licence.

What's on Offer Circa £60,000 basic salary DOE.

Commission paid on sales and hire.
