HSE Recruitment are working with a manufacturing business in the Midlands who are looking for an Interim Process Safety professional to support the team on a project. This role sits inside IR35 and day rates will be discussed on a case by case basis. This is likely to be an initial 3 month project with the option to extend or go permanent, depending on your situation. We are open to someone working between 3-5 days a week depending on availability.

Working under the instruction of the Process Safety Manager you will be supporting on:

  • Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment: Leading studies like HAZOP (Hazard and Operability), HAZID (Hazard Identification), and LOPA (Layer of Protection Analysis) to evaluate risks.
  • Process Safety Management (PSM): Developing, implementing, and maintaining safety management systems and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Advice and Guidance across the business.
  • Engineering Design Review: Reviewing Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), safety-critical elements, and equipment specifications.
  • Technical Support: Providing guidance on hazardous area classification, fire/explosion protection, and operational troubleshooting.
