Parts Advisor / Parts Controller to join an established service and repair company based in Wiltshire.

This organisation prides itself on delivering a high-quality, reliable service to its customers across the construction equipment industry, alongside being committed to investing in their people, creating a rewarding and friendly working environment.

As Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day parts operation, ensuring engineers and customers receive the correct parts efficiently and within agreed timescales.

This is a varied role, combining parts sales, stock control, purchasing, administration and customer service.

Responsibilities of the Role

  • Identifying and sourcing parts for all related machinery.
  • Managing the day-to-day parts operation and responding to parts enquiries.
  • Ordering parts and monitoring deliveries to ensure they arrive within required timescales.
  • Providing parts support to engineers, the workshop, customers and internal departments.
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring stock levels are appropriately managed.
  • Preparing quotations and processing parts sales orders.
  • Dealing with customer and supplier queries professionally and promptly.
  • Maintaining accurate records of parts, orders, costs and supplier information.
  • Supporting regular stock checks and stocktaking activities.
  • Ensuring all parts-related administration is completed accurately.

Requirements of Role

  • Have previous experience within a

Parts Advisor, Parts Controller, Parts Coordinator or Parts Sales position.

  • Have experience working within the construction equipment, plant hire, agricultural, automotive, HGV / commercial vehicle, material handling, or a similar engineering environment.
  • Comfortable dealing with customers, suppliers and engineers.
  • Confident user of IT systems
