We are representing a global leader in ship management, recognised for delivering high‑quality technical excellence across diverse fleets. They are expanding their London technical team and are seeking a driven, solutions‑focused Vessel Manager to oversee the technical performance, maintenance planning, inspections, and dry‑dock activities for a group of 3–4 RoRo vessels.
What will you be doing?
- Managing the safe, compliant, and efficient technical operation of assigned vessels
- Planning and supervising maintenance, repairs, and dry dockings
- Conducting vessel inspections and ensuring continuous machinery reliability
- Coordinating spare parts procurement and budget control
- Working closely with Masters, Chief Engineers, Operations, QHSE, and commercial stakeholders
Are you the ideal candidate?
- Previous experience as a Vessel Manager / Technical Superintendent is preferred
- Must have sailed as 2nd Engineer or higher on a RoRo vessel (ro‑pas considered)
- Strong understanding of technical systems, PMS, class & regulatory compliance
- Confident communicator with a hands‑on leadership approach
- Willing to travel internationally and support vessels directly when needed
