A leading consultancy within the offshore wind sector is seeking a qualified Principal Engineer to lead on Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) foundation projects. With an award-winning team and vibrant culture, they are known for delivering cutting-edge engineering solutions to some of the most ambitious offshore wind developments.
What will you be doing?
- Taking ownership of technical delivery for offshore wind WTG foundation packages
- Leading concept and detailed foundation design (monopiles, jackets, gravity-based structures etc.)
- Mentoring and developing engineers within a collaborative team environment
- Engaging with clients, contractors, and stakeholders across the project lifecycle
- Driving innovation, safety, and sustainability in foundation design and installation
Are you the ideal candidate?
- Experienced in offshore wind, WTG foundation design (monopiles, jackets, gravity-based structures)
- Qualified with a BEng/MEng in Civil, Structural, or Marine Engineering (CEng preferred)
- Skilled in FEA and structural design tools, with strong written communication
- Proven leadership in engineering delivery and team development
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement experience
