Who are we recruiting for?
A highly regarded, globally active shipping and commercial platform operating across Gas, Tanker, Dry Bulk and Container markets. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing operations function with real commercial influence and exposure to senior stakeholders.
What will you be doing?
- Owning post-fixture operations, ensuring accurate and timely billing of freight, hire, demurrage and claims
- Driving strong cashflow by managing receivables, minimising overdue exposure and resolving disputes
- Working closely with Chartering, Operations, Treasury and Compliance to protect the Owner’s position
- Managing broker commissions, bareboat payments and treasury reconciliations
- Leading or supporting charterer negotiations and settlement strategies (senior level)
Are you the ideal candidate?
- Qualified in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics or Accountancy
- Experience in post-fixture, commercial operations or shipping accounts
- Strong knowledge of charterparty terms and voyage-based claims
- Confident user of IMOS and Microsoft Excel
- Assured communicator with a sharp eye for detail and deadlines
