What will you be doing?
- Take strategic ownership of full product lifecycles, from concept through to production and in-service support
- Lead the design and development of advanced mechanical systems aligned with certification and regulatory standards
- Oversee prototype builds, testing programmes and data-driven design improvements
- Guide suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality, cost control and on-time delivery
- Produce and approve detailed CAD models, manufacturing drawings and technical documentation
Are you the ideal candidate?
- Qualified and highly experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in loads, materials, fluid dynamics and thermodynamics
- Advanced proficiency in 3D/2D CAD (Autodesk Fusion preferred) plus FEA/CFD capability
- Proven track record delivering products into volume manufacture using modern techniques (CNC, additive, moulding, casting)
- Hands-on marine or harsh-environment experience, with an appreciation for consumer-focused design and ergonomics
- Motivated, determined and assured leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
