Executive Search, Project Builds & GTM Hiring
Energy, Renewables & SaaS
£25,000 - £35,000 base + uncapped commission (up to 50%)
We were just named a Sunday Times Best Place to Work 2026. The only recruitment firm in Southampton to make the list. A 94% employee engagement score, with every single category rated excellent. We’re also the first recruitment company in Hampshire to become B Corp certified, and we’ve picked up Best Newcomer, Best New Agency, and Recruitment Agency of the Year along the way.
The short version:
Executive Integrity is a specialist search firm. We partner with private equity investors and high-growth businesses across energy, renewables and SaaS to place the talent that drives real enterprise value. At the top end, that’s retained executive search: the CEOs, CROs and commercial leaders who take a company from where it is to where the investors need it to be. But we do more than the C-suite. We also build out whole teams—the project hires that get a new initiative off the ground, and the go-to-market functions (sales, marketing, customer success) that turn a product into revenue. That work is more junior, faster-moving, and gives you a second engine to bill from alongside the retained mandates. It means variety. One week you’re headhunting a Chief Revenue Officer on a retained brief; the next you’re scaling a GTM team for a portfolio company that’s just raised. Fewer dull days, more ways to win.
Looking for a career in sales? Read this bit. Some of our best consultants had never recruited a day in their lives before joining us. They came from car showrooms, gym floors, estate agency, hospitality and retail. What they had in common wasn’t a CV full of recruitment, it was the instinct that makes someone good at this: they could hold a conversation with anyone, handle a knock-back without flinching, and they wanted to earn. If that sounds like you, the lack of a recruitment background is not a problem. We’ll teach you the search. You bring the hunger.
You probably recognise yourself here:
- You’ve held down a role and stuck at it—you’re not someone who jumps ship every six months.
- You’ve worked somewhere with real customers, real targets, and real pressure.
- You’re comfortable picking up the phone before hiding behind an email.
- You stay composed when a deal wobbles or a client pushes back.
- You’re independent, financially motivated, and ready to commit to something properly.
A degree is not required. Plenty of our top performers don’t have one.
What you’ll actually do:
- Lead retained search assignments for private equity-backed and high-growth businesses.
- Build out project teams and go-to-market functions, managing multiple hires at pace.
- Engage directly with CEOs, CROs and investment partners.
- Map talent markets and headhunt the people who move the needle, from leadership down.
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder processes from brief to placement.
- Generate new mandates and build your own client relationships over time.
You’ll work to clear revenue targets in a high-performance team, with genuine progression and the support to get there.
Where it goes:
Executive Recruitment Consultant is a core revenue role with a defined path to Managing Consultant and Head of Section. Progression is based on performance and leadership, not how long you’ve been sitting in the chair. At senior levels you take ownership of a vertical market, hold direct PE relationships, lead on fee negotiation, and get exposure to board-level conversations. By year three, six-figure total earnings are realistic for high performers. And the ceiling is high: bill £1m in a year and you’ll be driving an electric supercar for twelve months.
What you get:
- The money: Competitive base plus a market-leading uncapped commission scheme, up to 50%.
- A share of the £100,000 company bonus pool—your slice scales with your contribution to the £2.5m team goal (bill £250k and that’s a £10k bonus on top).
- Quarterly milestone bonuses: £250 and a day off for your first £50k quarter, £1,000 and two days off for your first £100k quarter.
