Who are we recruiting for?

We are representing a leading owner-operator of liquefied gas carriers, as they expand their high-performance team in Glasgow. They’re committed to safe, efficient, and sustainable shipping operations, and this role is key to driving data-driven improvements across their LNG fleet.

What will you be doing?

  • Act as the primary point of contact for vessel performance and emissions reporting queries.
  • Manage emissions data reporting and verification processes (IMO DCS, EU MRV, FuelEU) using platforms like Veracity and Thetis.
  • Investigate deviations in vessel performance, identify root causes, and share recommendations with operations teams.
  • Support operational excellence by conducting analyses and collaborating with ship and shore-based teams to enhance performance.
  • Provide insights and feedback to internal stakeholders and contribute to ongoing sustainability initiatives.

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills (advanced level).
  • Curious mindset with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
  • Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ideally, familiar with charter party clauses, vessel performance, or LNG operations.
  • Experience in a maritime environment or seagoing experience is preferred.
