Who are we recruiting for?
Executive Integrity are working with one of the most well-known and largest shipping companies in the world specialising in the transportation of natural gas and leading efforts in decarbonisation.
What will you be doing?
- Monitor and control the safe and cost-efficient technical operation of assigned LNG vessels, depending on experience.
- Provide assistance to company vessels to operate to the standard established by the Company and in compliance with international rules and regulations.
- Participate in the development of maintenance and repairs plan.
- Oversee all technical operations, ensuring timely and accurate completion of dry-docking, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Project the requirements in maintenance and repairs activities, spare parts, and technical training of the vessels.
- Forecast the budget needed, report to Manager and remain within the limits of the established maintenance plan.
- Ensure that the Company vessels are performing to customers' satisfaction and are ready for third-party inspections at any time.
- Attend the vessels and assist during such inspections where desirable.
Are you the ideal candidate?
The ideal candidate will have experience sailing as a minimum 2nd Engineer on LNG tankers and shore base experience within LNG / LPG. Marine Engineers wanting to come ashore will be considered if they have sailed as a minimum 2nd Engineer on LNG/LPG vessels.
- Chief Engineer/2nd Engineer CoC ideally on LNG, LPG or oil/chemical tankers.
- Shorebase experience is beneficial.
- Dual Fuel experience will also be considered.
- Strong knowledge of vessels’ technical requirements and regulations.
- Good working knowledge of international rules and regulations and of industry guidelines and recommendations.
