We are supporting a growing marine technology company developing next-generation electric propulsion systems for marine applications. They are looking for a Propeller & Fluid Dynamics Lead Engineer to take ownership of propeller performance, hydrodynamic optimisation and propulsion analysis across a range of electric drive products. This role will suit someone with existing propeller, hydrodynamics or marine propulsion experience gained through industry, specialist projects or academic research.
- Improve vessel efficiency, range and propulsion performance
- Support testing, validation and real-world performance analysis
- Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers and engineering teams
- Contribute to next-generation electric marine technology development
Degree qualified in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or related discipline
- Experience or exposure to propeller design, hydrodynamics or marine propulsion systems
- Understanding of vessel performance and propulsion optimisation
- Experience with CFD, propeller analysis or marine simulation tools is advantageous
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering environment
