We are supporting a growing marine technology company developing next-generation electric propulsion systems for marine applications. They are looking for a Propeller & Fluid Dynamics Lead Engineer to take ownership of propeller performance, hydrodynamic optimisation and propulsion analysis across a range of electric drive products. This role will suit someone with existing propeller, hydrodynamics or marine propulsion experience gained through industry, specialist projects or academic research.

  • Improve vessel efficiency, range and propulsion performance
  • Support testing, validation and real-world performance analysis
  • Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers and engineering teams
  • Contribute to next-generation electric marine technology development

Degree qualified in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or related discipline

  • Experience or exposure to propeller design, hydrodynamics or marine propulsion systems
  • Understanding of vessel performance and propulsion optimisation
  • Experience with CFD, propeller analysis or marine simulation tools is advantageous
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering environment
