Backed by a leading infrastructure investor and supported by long-term institutional capital, the business is exceptionally well positioned to continue expanding its portfolio across multiple technologies and geographies.

As the business enters its next phase of growth, they are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the executive leadership team.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will lead the company's financial strategy, capital raising, corporate finance, financial operations, and investor engagement, playing a pivotal role in supporting continued expansion and value creation.

  • Lead all corporate finance activities, including debt financing, equity raises, refinancing processes, and capital allocation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shareholders, lenders, infrastructure funds, banks, and external financial advisors.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, treasury, tax, and financial controls across the organisation.
  • Support M&A transactions, acquisitions, divestments, and strategic partnerships through financial analysis and transaction execution.
  • Work closely with the investment, development, commercial, and asset management teams to optimise project economics and funding strategies.
  • Lead project financing processes across solar, wind, and battery energy storage (BESS) assets.
  • Ensure robust financial governance, compliance, risk management, and regulatory reporting.
  • Present financial performance, strategic initiatives, and investment cases to the Board and shareholders.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance function capable of supporting rapid business growth.

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • Proven experience as CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance executive within renewable energy, infrastructure, utilities, or energy transition sectors.
  • Strong track record leading corporate finance activities, including debt financing, project finance, refinancing, and capital raising.
  • Deep understanding of renewable energy project economics, infrastructure investments, and financial structuring.
  • Experience working with private equity, infrastructure funds, institutional investors, or long-term capital providers.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, treasury management, taxation, and financial governance.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, portfolio optimisation, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and Board-level communication skills.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to balance strategic growth, financial discipline, and shareholder value creation.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or international equivalent) and/or relevant finance qualification preferred.
  • Fluent English is essential.

  • Executive leadership position within one of Europe's fastest-growing renewable energy platforms.
  • Significant influence over the strategic direction and long-term growth of the business.
  • Direct exposure to shareholders, Board members, and leading infrastructure investors.
