With an expanding presence in the UK, this innovative firm is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Principal Engineer – Secondary Steel to lead and inspire their expert team.

What will you be doing?

  • Leading the design of complex secondary steel structures for offshore platforms and turbines, including ladders, platforms, and support systems.
  • Overseeing all phases of project delivery—from concept to detailed design—ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate secondary steel elements within large-scale structural systems.
  • Engaging with clients, fabricators, and regulators to deliver cutting-edge engineering solutions.
  • Driving innovation through in-depth analysis using industry-leading tools and in-house software.

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • A qualified structural engineer with 6–8+ years’ experience in offshore wind or similar sectors.
  • Expert knowledge of secondary steel components and offshore connection design (bolted/welded).
  • Familiarity with Sesam or similar structural analysis software.
  • Proven leadership experience in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Strong communicator, motivated mentor, and confident client liaison.
