A major global shipowner is strengthening its London tanker operations team at a point of continued fleet growth and commercial activity. This is a role for someone who understands that marine operations is not just administration behind a fixture. The information provided to brokers, charterers and Masters directly influences whether vessels are fixed, cargoes are carried safely and commercial opportunities are protected!
The Impact You Will Have
- Support tanker fixtures by giving brokers and chartering teams accurate vessel, cargo, bunker, loadable and operational information when it matters most.
- Act as a trusted operational link between London, Singapore, Masters, agents, terminals and charterers across spot and time-charter activity.
- Protect the business commercially by ensuring vessel readiness, terminal compliance, tank preparation and voyage requirements are properly understood.
- Help Masters navigate port, terminal, charter party and cargo requirements while maintaining safe and efficient operations.
- Contribute to a growing tanker platform with scope to build wider exposure across audits, vessel visits, commercial support and future progression.
What Success Looks Like
- You have sailed on tankers or bring credible shore-based tanker operations experience.
- You understand the commercial impact of operational detail and respond with speed, accuracy and judgement.
- You are comfortable supporting pre-fixture activity, voyage issues and occasional out-of-hours vessel matters when required.
- You can work confidently with brokers, Masters, charterers, agents and colleagues across international time zones.
- You want to join a large, established platform where performance, reliability and attitude can open future opportunities.
What Is on Offer
This is a chance to join one of the world’s most substantial private shipping platforms, working close to the commercial heart of the tanker business. You will gain exposure to high-value fixtures, global stakeholders, Singapore headquarters, vessel operations and the wider commercial decision-making process. For someone ambitious, practical and commercially aware, this is a strong platform for long-term progression. Apply only if you understand tankers, take ownership seriously and want your operational decisions to matter commercially.
