Who are we recruiting for?

A pioneering clean-tech start-up driving the future of sustainable shipping. With revolutionary wind propulsion systems already live and more in the pipeline, they’re entering an exciting scale-up phase – and are looking for a talented engineering leader to steer their innovation forward.

What will you be doing?

  • Leading a strong, multi-disciplinary team to deliver class-compliant, manufacturable designs.
  • Driving the full engineering lifecycle – from concept to delivery, testing, and handover.
  • Owning the product roadmap and ensuring all engineering activity aligns with delivery milestones.
  • Collaborating with external stakeholders including shipyards, manufacturers, and class societies.
  • Shaping a vibrant, motivated, and delivery-focused engineering culture.

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • 10+ years of leadership across mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering functions.
  • Degree-qualified with full lifecycle product experience and a determined focus on safety and compliance.
  • Experienced in managing verification, validation, and certification processes.
  • Exposure to marine engineering or wind propulsion systems is a plus.
  • Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent) is preferred.
