Our client is a well established and global digital player in the maritime space, now sharpening its commercial focus across key global regions. Business development is being elevated as a distinct, senior function, separate from account management and customer success, with clear expectations around new logo acquisition and complex, multi‑year growth. This role sits at the centre of that shift, owning high value enterprise opportunities in the Ports & Terminals sector, across EMEA and turning an already proven platform into deeper, broader commercial partnerships.
The Impact You Will Have
- Own and grow a targeted portfolio of top‑tier ports and terminals, winning new logos and expanding regional and global footprints.
- Be the senior commercial spearhead for ports & terminals in EMEA, shaping segment strategy working with Senior Leadership.
- Translate regulatory, ESG and operational pressures into compelling, board‑level business cases for digital maritime risk solutions.
- Feed market intelligence directly into product, data and leadership to influence roadmap and go‑to‑market priorities.
To be successful in this role
- A proven enterprise hunter with circa 10 years selling complex B2B solutions, ideally SaaS.
- Direct experience selling into ports and terminals within the EMEA with a credible senior network.
- Confident operating at C‑suite level and in boardrooms, comfortable defending value and holding your ground in tough negotiations.
- Consistent record of exceeding seven‑figure annual targets and building multi‑year, multi‑country contracts.
- Commercially analytical, structured and disciplined in pipeline, forecasting and deal qualification.
