This appointment strengthens fleet assurance across tanker operations and supports inspection readiness, investigation quality and regulatory performance at a point where experienced maritime judgement is essential.
The role sits close to operational decision making rather than compliance administration. It offers direct influence across audits, vetting performance and incident response while working alongside technical and marine leadership responsible for maintaining a high performing international fleet. The Impact You Will Have
- Lead shipboard audits and inspections supporting fleet wide compliance performance
- Strengthen vetting readiness across tanker operations in commercially sensitive environments
- Support investigation strategy following incidents and near misses across the fleet
- Provide HSEQ guidance to vessel and technical teams during operational decision making
- Contribute directly to maintaining alignment with ISM, ISPS, MLC and MARPOL frameworks

- Holds a Master’s licence with strong operational credibility at sea
- Tanker background in a senior shipboard role preferred
- Brings confidence engaging with senior officers and technical stakeholders ashore
