About the Role

Executive Hurdles Recruitment is proud to partner with a fast-growing, multi-site operator to appoint a People & Culture Manager at a pivotal stage of expansion. This is a high-impact role, ideal for a hands-on HR leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is excited by the challenge of scaling people operations alongside business growth. You will act as the primary HR lead across the organisation, working closely with the COO to shape and deliver a people strategy that supports a dynamic Buy & Build growth model. From frontline employee relations to acquisition integration and leadership development, you will play a central role in building a high-performing, values-driven culture. This role suits someone equally comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels—someone who can roll up their sleeves while also influencing long-term organisational design and culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Operations & HR Advisory: Act as the go-to expert for all people-related matters, providing practical, commercially focused HR support to managers. Lead on employee relations, ensure compliance with UK employment law, and build management capability across the business.
  • Acquisition Integration & TUPE: Support the people aspects of acquisitions end-to-end, including due diligence, TUPE processes, consultation, and onboarding. Drive smooth cultural integration while maintaining operational stability.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Own the full recruitment lifecycle across a high-volume, multi-site environment. Develop effective hiring strategies.
