What We're Looking for in a Senior Buyer:
- We're seeking a commercially astute procurement professional with a proven track record in international sourcing and supplier relationship management, particularly across India and China.
- You’ll need strong commercial awareness and exceptional negotiation skills, combined with the ability to manage risk and deliver strategic procurement solutions that align with business objectives.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data management are essential, as is the ability to build collaborative relationships internally and externally.

What You’ll Do as a Senior Buyer:
- Build and strengthen relationships with Far East suppliers (India & China focus), ensuring capability and mitigating risk through strategies like dual sourcing.
- Manage procurement across key spend areas: brackets, bolts, locks, timber, concrete, metals.
- Interrogate supply chains to identify risks and implement robust solutions.
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for quality, cost, and delivery excellence.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity to seize opportunities.
