Our client is a well-renowned Charity that creates projects to empower people to return to sports, hobbies and other activities and give them the confidence to take on fresh challenges. They are now seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to join their friendly and passionate team for 6 months with potential to extend. You will be responsible for optimising social media channels, website, digital, and print marketing, to help achieve the goal of increasing awareness and engagement.
Working collaboratively across all teams, you will design and create engaging and inspiring promotional material including advertisements, posters, logos, literature titles, and other branded materials.
Key responsibilities:- Responsible for the day-to-day management of all digital marketing activities.
- Maintain and develop the Charity’s website.
- Optimise all content for SEO and digital channels.
- Execute the day-to-day delivery of social media content and engagement.
- Support and advise beneficiaries through social media channels, Private Facebook group, and live chat on a day-to-day basis ensuring timely response to queries and comments.
- Work with the Fundraising & Marketing teams to develop, update and create marketing materials.
- Work with the wider team to deliver E-News campaigns.
- Support the Community Engagement Lead, to promote attendance at open days, support groups, and events.
- Support the Marketing and Campaigns Manager to deliver marketing, campaigns, and comms strategy.
- A minimum of 2 years marketing and digital marketing experience.
- Implementing social media and communication campaigns and strategies.
- Experience with Buffer or Hootsuite effectively.
- Experience/knowledge of SEO.
- Outstanding written communication and copywriting skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft packages, Adobe Cloud, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Ability to load and change website copy, using CMS software such as WordPress, Google Analytics, and Drupal.
- Creative ability in designing graphics.
- CRM database experience.
- Project management skills.
