Residential Support Worker

Role: Residential Support Worker Hours – 12 hour shifts Pay: £13 per hour Our client is a dedicated children\’s care provider offering medium to long term placements, for looked after children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, mild mental health difficulties and mild learning disabilities. Our clients home in Benfleet, Essex provides tailored care to support children\’s development, independence, and well-being in a nurturing setting. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing assistance and care to children, ensuring their well-being and development. This position requires effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the lives of those we support. What we want from you: * Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a children\’s residential care setting. * Qualifications: A Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People\’s Workforce. * Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with compassionate and resilient nature, IT skills, English and Maths qualifications as desirable but not essential. * Knowledge: Familiarity with safeguarding practices, regulatory standards, and behaviour management techniques.
