A Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
Significant experience and evidence of working in a hospital environment.
Evidence of working at Service Manager level within Adult Social Care.
An ability to lead and deliver change within Adult Social Care or equivalent teams.
Significant experience in hospital discharge, transformation, change management, and Adult Social Care delivery.
Be able to work with key stakeholders to deliver and drive hospital discharges in a timely, safe and sustainable way.
An effective communicator, verbal and written.
- The post is for 3 months.
- 37 hours per week.
- £28.25 per hour.
QUALIFICATIONS
Social Work qualification or equivalent i.e., MA or BA in Social Work, Dip SW CQSW or CSS.
Management qualification and/or significant management experience.
Current registration with Social Work England.
EXPERIENCE
Extensive experience within social care or a related service.
Considerable experience as a Team Manager or equivalent in Social Care the relevant assessment function for the role portfolio.
Managing, motivating and leading front line managers and teams in a complex organisational setting.
Working within deadlines and targets.
Change and performance management.
Management and monitoring of budgets.
Partnership working with other statutory and voluntary agencies.
Financial competence.
Performance review and planning.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
IT systems including Microsoft Office.
Strategic and project planning.
Leadership in a complex organisational environment.
Health and social care systems.
Adults’ legislation, practice and procedures.
Safeguarding and regulatory frameworks.
Immediate start for the successful candidate.
Candidates must have access to a vehicle for the purposes of work.
There may be opportunities to remote work, but due to the nature of the role and job focus, on site attendance is a requirement.
