Job Summary: We are currently recruiting for an Electronic Manufacturing Technician within one of our main sites. You’ll be responsible for test, fault finding, and repair of various electrical and electronic systems and components. You’ll be working with the production team to help in the completion of tasks, including tool assembly, calibration, and testing with the production team comprised of assemblers, Mechanical Manufacturing Technicians, and supervisors. You will be delivering a range of electrical and electromechanical tools. You’ll be testing electrical and electromechanical tools based on the procedure and interacting with MRP systems (SAP). You will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing the test equipment used to test tools.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Carry out functional tests of PWAs and electronic assemblies.
- Use job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists, quality travelers and bills of material.
- Maintain production tools and equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose product, process or program defects and repair them.
- Ensure ability to read blueprints; identify components; perform wire preparation, stripping and crimping; perform harness repair and termination; use pertinent manual hand tools.
- Maintain skills in electronics, hydraulics and mechanical systems.
