To carry out commercial and domestic heating repairs in response to reported faults, diagnosing faults and replacing defective parts as necessary.

Job Description & Person Specification Commercial Heating Engineer

Responsible for ensuring compliance with Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations, Health & Safety legislation, Water Regulations, Building Regulations and associated statutory compliance requirements across a diverse property portfolio including schools, public buildings and domestic properties.

Ability to undertake safety inspections, commissioning checks, testing and certification of gas and heating installations and provides technical reports and recommendations

To carry out works associated with gas, heating appliances and air source heat pumps.

To install full domestic and commercial central heating systems and boiler replacements.

To work from drawings and specifications.

To carry out repairs/renewal to refurbishment works.

To assist in the annual maintenance programme works, checking, servicing, cleaning and replacing parts.

EXPERIENCE

  • Practical Competence
  • Knowledge of gas Safety Regulations
  • A minimum of 3 years experience of gas related works
