Family Law Solicitor Work Location: Hybrid remote in Blackburn Pay: From £40,000.00 per year Full-Time We are looking for a Family Law Solicitor to join a busy, family and immigration specialist law firm located in the heart of Blackburn town centre. We are a Resolution and Lexcel-accredited law firm. We pride ourselves on delivering clear, practical legal advice with a personal touch. As our firm continues to grow, we’re expanding our Family Law Department and are looking for committed and capable solicitors to join our team. The Role This is a full-time role involving both privately and publicly funded cases. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, provide high-quality client care, and handle matters from initial instruction through to conclusion, including advocacy where appropriate. Key Responsibilities * Handling a caseload of family law matters * Advising clients on funding options and assessing financial eligibility (Legal Aid) * Instructing and liaising with counsel, experts, and third parties * Representing clients in court and conducting advocacy when required * Delivering compassionate and clear advice to often vulnerable clients * Ensuring compliance with Lexcel and SRA standards What We’re Looking For * Minimum 1 year PQE * Strong knowledge of family law * Excellent communication and client care skills * Comfortable working independently and using initiative * Experience working with sensitive or vulnerable clients * Strong time management and case management skills What We Offer * Competitive salary and performance-based bonus * Career development and support for Law Society/Resolution accreditation * A supportive, approachable team environment Interested please apply
