Ecosystem Partner — Execution Capital builds and operates a specialist investment ecosystem. Performance-based and sector-focused, we provide the necessary infrastructure.

Execution Capital backs early-stage founders with senior fractional talent, financed through a blend of cash and equity model. We operate ring-fenced ecosystems by sector — DeepTech, FinTech, HealthTech, Climate, AI, Fashion, and many more — and we're looking for operators to build and lead them.

This is not a job. It's a principal-level equity opportunity for someone who wants to build a serious portfolio — without having to start from scratch. You bring the sector, the deal flow, and the ambition. We bring the platform, the legal support, the expert network, the Venture Capital Interest™ mechanism, and the operating playbooks to back pre-seed and seed startups across the UK and EU.

Who is this for

You're likely a former founder, angel investor, accelerator leader, venture partner, or senior operator who has been thinking about building their own fund or ecosystem — but doesn't want to spend two years and hundreds of thousands of pounds on legal, regulatory, compliance, and infrastructure before making their first investment.

You have a clear sector home. You can source founders. You have the credibility to attract and select experts and the judgement to back the right founders and IP-led startups.

What you'll own

  • Deal flow — build a consistent pipeline of high-quality pre-seed and seed-stage startups in your sector through your network, community presence, and partner relationships.
  • Startup selection — assess founder quality, execution needs, and investment fit; work with EC to structure onboarding and expert matching.
  • Ecosystem development — recruit sector experts, build partner relationships (accelerators, VCs, corporates, universities), and grow the ecosystem's external reputation.
  • Portfolio activation — ensure matched startups and experts are executing against scoped Tickets; track progress and escalate where needed.
  • Governance — contribute to portfolio updates, investment memos, and proof-of-execution tracking.

Target: 10+ startups per year, ~£100K execution capacity per company.

What we need from you

  • Non-negotiable: Clear sector focus with existing credibility and relationships.
  • Demonstrable access to early-stage deal flow.
  • Strong judgement on founder quality and market timing.
  • Commercial mindset — you understand performance economics and are building for upside, not salary.
  • Capacity to operate independently and build long-term.

Strong advantage:

  • Previous investing, accelerating, or venture studio experience.
  • Existing relationships with VCs, angels, or institutional partners.
  • Experience as a founder or CXO.
  • Strong LinkedIn presence or sector community standing.

Compensation

Revenue-share (cash and equity securities). No salary. Your upside comes from ecosystem transaction fees, portfolio performance, and partner revenue. This is structured for operators who want to build something significant — not manage a programme. Exact terms are agreed based on sector, track record, ecosystem structure, and operator contribution.

EC provides

  • Investment model.
  • Legal and governance framework and hands-on support.
  • VCI™ mechanism.
  • Expert network.
  • Ticketing and milestone infrastructure.
  • Onboarding process.
  • Portfolio reporting.
  • Brand and back-office support.
