Vice President, Client Service Officer

The Company is seeking a Client Service Officer (CSO) to join their UK Pensions Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic DB client relationships, with a focus on delivering a dedicated servicing experience to the UK’s DB and DC institutional client base. This role requires the ability to build trusted and deep relationships with clients, understand intricate operating models, and meet outstanding servicing requirements. The CSO will be the main contact for servicing large and sophisticated client relationships, collaborating with relationship managers, and driving client RFP pitches. They must be proactive, creative problem solvers, and demonstrate thought leadership in client relationship management.
Candidates for the CSO position should have a proven track record in client leadership and service philosophy, with 7-10 years of experience in financial services operational functions and client-facing teams. The role demands a strong understanding of multi-asset solutions, the ability to innovate and design client-centric solutions, and a deep knowledge of the UK regulatory landscape and liability-driven investment strategies. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, operate effectively under pressure, and have the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders. Emotional ownership of client needs, excellent communication skills, and a team-approach attitude are essential. The role also requires proficiency in prioritizing work, an appreciation for the importance of process, and the ability to manage risk.
