Purpose of the Role
The Senior Editor will be a multi-platform editorial leader, overseeing and producing high-quality content across print, digital, broadcast, and live event platforms. You will work closely with the Editor-in-Chief and cross-functional teams to ensure all content — magazines, websites, podcasts, webinars, stage presentations, BizClik TV interviews, and commercial media sales material — is on-brand, compelling, and strategically aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Magazine and Feature Content: Plan, assign, and write front-of-book features, thought-leadership articles, and industry insights. Oversee layout, quality control, and commissioning of magazine content. Collaborate with design teams to optimize content flow and visual presentation.
- Digital, Web and SEO Content: Produce and publish regular digital articles, updates, and industry news. Source, pitch, and write SEO-aligned web content. Maintain publishing calendar and monitor analytics to improve engagement.
- Broadcast and Live Platforms: Develop and produce content for BizClik TV interviews, webinars, podcasts, and stage presentations. Work with events teams to create editorially-led session content and speaker materials. Ensure messaging is consistent, engaging, and aligned with the brand across all platforms.
- Commercial and Media Sales Content: Collaborate with Sales and Production teams to create branded content, profiles, and campaign articles. Write and polish media sales collateral that balances editorial quality with commercial messaging. Support client content projects, ensuring professionalism and brand consistency.
- Editorial Leadership: Manage editorial workflows and timelines for multiple projects and platforms. Mentor junior staff and freelancers, maintaining high editorial standards. Build sector expertise and maintain key industry relationships. Contribute to social media and audience engagement strategy.
KPIs
- Minimum four web articles per day (two unique, two syndicated)
- One or two front-of-book magazine features per week
- One commercial profile or campaign per week
- Successful delivery of multi-platform content including live, video, and audio formats
Qualifications And Experience
- Proven experience in publishing, journalism, or multi-platform content creation
- Skilled in research, interviewing, and producing thought-leadership content
- Experience producing broadcast, stage, or digital live content
- Strong understanding of SEO, digital media, and cross-platform storytelling
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace; familiarity with Canva, Figma, Monday.com a plus
