We are actively seeking an Events Manager to manage & drive the team responsible for Conference, Banqueting, Season Corporate & Weddings segment to maximise potential revenue whilst providing a 5 star customer service.

Our successful candidate will be responsible for…..
- To ensure administration of all events is maintained to a high standard: to include management of collateral, reception showrounds, mystery shopper standards, follow up events for feedback (BDRC), folders up to date and accounting information processed correctly
- To accurately use HART for private dining, conference and wedding bookings
- To manage and motivate the team responsible for conferences, private dining events and weddings to maximise revenue whilst providing five star customer service at all times.
- To anticipate and understand guests’ needs to develop our offering where possible to enhance the quality of service and positively promote sales to increase revenue
- To guide team members in event co-ordination whilst sharing new ideas to innovate the service provided with the Revenue Manager
- Day to day management of the Events team to ensure procedures are adhered to in a timely manner and customer satisfaction levels excelled, stepping in to assist when necessary
- Hold quarterly job chats with each member of the Events team to access key strengths, areas of concern and provide development plans that meet the needs of the individual and the business
- Create and deliver show rounds to clients and sell the hotel to the best of its potential and train team members to the same standard
- To ensure all team members produce accurate function sheets on time maintaining 100% attention to detail. To compile and issue weekly function sheets and to host the meeting, delivering correct and concise information. To ensure other team members understand the process and can deputise in your absence
- Achieve targets set by Revenue Manager proactively selling the hotel facilities to potential guests and companies
