As a Healthcare Security/Support Worker you will work supporting patients on bed watching and in A&E.If you hold an SIA Licence you may also be asked to patrol parts of the site and similar security duties when required. We also require the healthcare security support working staff member to cover across our other job roles as and when required. This may involve residential settings and our secure transport provision. Residential is supporting young people (generally) in a supported living environment. The Secure transport role involves the transfer of children and adults around the country & an SIA would be beneficial but not essential. You will be working in environments with both adults and children who have behaviours that challenge and the role will be to protect the well-being of all persons and to ensure the safekeeping of patients, visitors and staff. We ensure our healthcare security / support staff are trained to the highest level; allowing any scenario to be competently handled and effectively managed.
