Duties and Responsibilities
- We are looking for a software developer with a bias toward frontend react web development to join our growing team.
- You'll play a key role in building and maintaining modern, user-friendly web applications, working closely with data scientists, engineers and product stakeholders.
- This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently in a remote environment, while also collaborating effectively within a distributed team.
- Develop and maintain responsive, high-quality web applications using modern frontend technologies ideally React.Js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features.
- Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services and databases.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.
- Use GitHub for version control, pull requests, and collaborative development workflows.
- Debug and resolve technical issues across the application stack.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience (3yrs+) as a software engineer with a strong focus on frontend development ideally React.Js.
- Solid experience with React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
- Experience using Git and GitHub in a collaborative environment.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of databases (e.g., SQL or NoSQL).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
