Responsibilities
As the Human Resources Administrator you will support the UK Senior HR Advisor and HR Manager UK&I with day-to-day HR administration. Assisting with HR operations duties including employment, training, policies and procedures, benefits, and recruitment.
- Create and manage employee records in the HRIS (Workday), ensuring accurate information and organisational structure.
- Support the HR team with maintenance of the HRIS (Workday).
- Lead initiatives to design and implement automation within the HRIS to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.
- Provide and update HR reports and analysis using the HRIS, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
- Maintain electronic employee records, ensuring all documentation is complete and up to date.
- Update and maintain company policies and handbooks in line with current legislation.
- Maintain compliance with the right-to-work requirements in the UK and support first-day induction processes.
- Onboard/induct new starters to the company, HRIS and benefits.
- Manage SharePoint pages with benefits, HR policies and general HR information.
- Provide accurate data from the HRIS and employee files for auditing purposes when required.
- Process forms for external third parties such as background checks and references.
- Produce and update employment contracts and variation letters.
- Conduct exit surveys and provide feedback to exec team and line managers.
- Conduct risk assessments for expecting and new mothers.
- Work with department managers and team leaders on absence issues, patterns and other leave requests.
- Work with managers on the administration of flexible working requests.
- Any other ad‑hoc tasks as required by the HR Manager.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- CIPD level 3 or relevant work experience.
- Strong administration and analysis skills.
- Experience with Workday is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain internal relationships.
- Strong facilitation, time management and organisational skills.
- Proactive, flexible, eager to learn with an excellent work ethic.
- Experience using Excel at a basic to intermediate level.
- SharePoint and PowerPoint experience is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience working within an HR team is essential.
