The role focuses on consolidating fragmented customer and vendor data across multiple ERPs and platforms, defining data standards, and leading master data governance initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Define and document data standards, validation rules, and quality thresholds for Customer/Partner and Vendor domains.
  • Design and maintain a data quality scorecard covering completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness.
  • Maintain a structured log of known data quality issues, categorised by domain, system, and business impact.
  • Support HubSpot data cleanup planning: define target state, establish quality criteria for reimport, help sequence the cleanup.
  • Operate the MDM stewardship workflows: review match proposals, approve or reject merge recommendations, manage exceptions.
  • Contribute to the development of EXN’s data governance operating model, including RACI, escalation paths, steward responsibilities, and decision principles.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5-8 years of experience in master data management, data quality, and data governance.
  • Strong understanding of MDM concepts such as golden record curation, match & merge, and survivorship.
  • Exposure to multiple source systems and experience resolving data errors across them.
  • Ability to define data quality standards and metrics; structure and measure data issues.
  • Analytical skills; comfortable interrogating data in SQL, Excel, or BI tools.
  • Experience producing data quality reports and domain documentation for non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of CRM or ERP data structures: accounts, contacts, hierarchies, and relationships.
