Working Hours

• Saturday and Sunday: 10 hours per day
• Weekdays: Flexible afternoons/evenings, roughly 4-5 hours per day

Role Overview

A warm and welcoming family of five in Oxshott, Surrey, are seeking an experienced Housekeeper / Cook with a passion for home-style, healthy cooking. The role focuses primarily on afternoon and evening cooking, with additional hours at the weekend. The household includes five friendly dogs, so a genuine love of animals is essential.

The ideal candidate is reliable, organised, confident in the kitchen, and happy to assist with general housekeeping when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy, family-style meals for two adults, two teenagers, and one 10-year-old
• Cook primarily evenings and weekends
• Shop for fresh ingredients and manage kitchen supplies
• Assist with general household duties and light cleaning
• Support meal prep for breakfast as needed
• Work alongside the existing housekeeping team

Requirements

• Local candidate – must live within easy reach of Oxshott (eg Surrey, Wimbledon, or nearby areas)
• Experienced family-style Cook, confident in preparing healthy, home-cooked meals
• Animal lover, comfortable in a pet-friendly home
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage time effectively
• Previous private household experience essential
