Our clients are seeking a reliable Afterschool Nanny with their own car to collect their two children from school in Ruislip and bring them home to Uxbridge.
The family consists of two children, a boy aged 7 and a girl aged 10, who attend the same school. One parent works from home and will always be present on the children's return, so this role is proxy-parent in nature rather than sole charge.
The successful candidate will be warm, reliable and proactive, comfortable managing a calm and structured afterschool routine for two school-aged children, including occasional onsite afterschool club collections.
Duties to include, but are not limited to
- Collecting the children from school or from onsite afterschool activities (e.g. chess club, netball)
- Driving children home to Uxbridge (approx. 15-minute drive)
- Settling children into homework or preparing them for extracurricular activities (e.g. football, gymnastics)
- Occasional drop-offs to extracurricular activities when required
- Working alongside the at-home parent to ensure a smooth, settled afternoon routine
Candidate Requirements:
- Own car and clean, valid driving licence
- Previous experience in a similar afterschool/proxy-parent nanny role
- Comfortable managing two children of different ages (7 and 10)
- Reliable and punctual, available consistently during term time
- Flexible to occasional later finishes for activity drop-offs
- No nanny cover required outside term time
