Our client, with an Estate in Dorset, is looking for a friendly and helpful Temporary Housekeeper/Cook to cover their permanent member of staff, in May. You will be looking after the 2 principals for the duration (1st May - 9th May).

Key responsibilities:

  • All general housekeeping and cleaning duties, including vacuuming and dusting etc.
  • Maintaining the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen to a high level.
  • Laundry and ironing, although someone does come in on an ad-hoc basis to assist with this.
  • Preparation of breakfast, cooking lunch (usually a light lunch, a soup or salad etc) and dinner (family style meals).
  • Grocery shopping, and any additional errand running.
  • Lay the table in the evening, in preparation for breakfast in the morning.

Candidate requirements:

  • Previous experience in a role of this nature.
  • Trustworthy, kind, and proactive.
  • Able to confidently cook family style meals.
  • A driver with access to their own car is essential.

Duration: May 1st - May 9th

Working hours: 9.00am–2.00pm & 5.00pm–7.30/8.00pm, flexibility with this is required.

Working days: 7 days per week.

Accommodation: A private ensuite bedroom.

Salary: £25 gph.
