Our client, with a residence in St James’s Park, London, is looking for Temporary Butlers to work at a Formal Household. The property is a large operation with over 15 members of staff jointly ensuring that the highest standards are delivered at all times. This role is to start as soon as possible for approximately 2 weeks. This could vary depending on the family's movements.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Welcome guests of the principal, and ensure service standards are maintained throughout their visit.
- Ensure the security and privacy of the property and principal are always maintained.
- To be accountable for all visitors, and ensure they follow the property's privacy policy.
- Take requests for food and drink, and liaise with the kitchen staff and travelling entourage.
- Restock and ensure all amenities are neatly presented throughout the property.
- Monitor stock levels within the property to ensure there are enough supplies for all the principal’s and employee’s needs.
- Communicate with the House Manager any requests received by the entourage to organise a plan for procurement.
- Provide support directly to other teams onsite when the occasion arises.
The ideal individual for this role will have:
- Knowledge on wines, cookery, and dining protocols.
- Proficiency in planning, purchasing, and maintaining supplies and inventories.
- Impeccable organisational and planning skills.
- The ability to delegate activities and manage others.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Outstanding client-relations skills and professionalism.
Salary: £28gph
Date: ASAP
Working Days: 6 days per week on a rota system
