East Sussex, Salary circa £20 gross per hour. Our client is seeking two experienced, professional Housekeepers to support a busy private household during a short-term stay at a large Airbnb property in East Sussex.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full daily cleaning of the property to a high standard
- Laundry and garment care, including luxury and delicate items
- Care of specialist surfaces (marble, antiques, silver)
- Cleaning of sauna and swimming pool areas
- Outdoor window cleaning and light gardening duties
- Table setting and maintaining service standards
- Preparing refreshments and providing light cooking support
- Assisting the private chef with lunch and dinner service
- Packing and unpacking suitcases
- Serving daily vitamins to principals
- Meeting and greeting guests
- Running errands and completing local/online shopping (fuel reimbursed)
- General all-round household support
Household Environment:
- 2–4 principal guests in residence
- Additional guests visiting for lunches and dinners
- Busy executive working from home
- Lady of the house and office staff on site
- Discretion, professionalism, and adaptability are essential
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven professional housekeeping experience
- Experience working in luxury private homes preferred
- Detail-oriented, organised, and discreet
- Confident in a fast-paced, fully staffed household
- English and/or Russian language skills preferred
- Driving licence and own vehicle preferred (fuel covered for work-related errands)
Working Schedule:
- Monday – Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm (2 Housekeepers required daily)
- Saturday 9:00am – 6:00pm (split shift coverage – 1 Housekeeper in the morning, 1 in the afternoon)
- Sunday: Off
