A lovely family of 4 living on the outskirts of St Andrews, Scotland, are looking for a highly reliable Nanny. The couple have 2 young sons, aged 18 months and 3.5 years, and are seeking a professional to care and ensure their safety/welfare is met.
A typical working day will start around 7:30am and finish at 6:30pm (Monday – Friday). The boys attend a local Nursery and various play groups so there will be moments within the day where you will have your own free time.
The role will include all the general Nanny duties along with the following:
- Morning & Afternoon Nursery runs
- Playing stimulating games - encouraging active play, steering away from screen time
- Reading with them
- Meal prep/dinner for the boys
- Bath/Night routine
- Light housekeeping – keeping the children’s area tidy - Please note that the family does employ a Housekeeper
- Children’s laundry
It has been requested that the Nanny is willing/flexible to accompany the family when they travel to their holiday home on the west coast of Scotland or abroad. The couple are looking for a loving, warm character to slot into their family orientated lifestyle. Ideal role for someone who is seeking a long-term, stable position, and has prior experience with children of a similar age.
The family have various hobbies and partake in lots of outdoor sports, so are looking for someone who is proactive, energetic, and fun to keep their two very active boys engaged and interested. You should be eager to roll your sleeves up, be forward thinking and independent.
It is a MUST that you possess the following:
- DBS/PVG Check
- Full UK Drivers Licence
- Non-Smoker
- Live close to the residence, within 30 minutes drive of the residence – if not living in
