Our clients, a professional couple relocating to Ripley (GU23), are seeking an experienced and reliable Part-time Housekeeper to maintain their new home to a high standard. This is a long-term position suited to someone who takes pride in creating a calm, well-organised, and welcoming environment.
Duties will include:
- High-standard cleaning and general housekeeping throughout the home
- Laundry and ironing
- Changing and making bed linens in the main bedroom (guest rooms only when requested)
- Keeping cupboards, wardrobes, and shelves tidy and well-organised
- Fridge and freezer cleaning, food rotation, and general kitchen organisation
- Receiving and putting away grocery deliveries (including safely securing the family cat before opening the door)
- Accepting other deliveries and parcels, and keeping track of where items are placed
- Cleaning two litter trays once per month (training will be provided)
- Small errands, such as dropping off and collecting dry cleaning
- Being gentle, attentive, and mindful of the familyβs indoor cat at all times β she must remain indoors
Candidate requirements:
- Previous housekeeping experience in a private home
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Reliable, trustworthy, and well-organised
- Comfortable around pets (cat in residence)
- Intermediate level of English preferred; Italian would be a bonus but is not essential
