The Family
Our client, a warm and welcoming family based in Richmond, are seeking an experienced, proactive, and trustworthy Nanny / Housekeeper to join their household on a long-term basis. The family have two young children, aged 22 months and 1 month, with Mum at home full-time and Dad running a busy business. They are looking for someone who is happy to take a hands-on approach, naturally muck in where needed, and become a valued, long-standing member of their household. The family also have two cats.
The Role
This is a varied position combining childcare and housekeeping responsibilities. The successful candidate will be confident caring for babies and young children whilst ensuring the home is maintained to an exceptionally high standard. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and able to anticipate the family's needs without being asked. They will take pride in their work, have excellent attention to detail, and be comfortable working alongside a stay-at-home mother.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Providing attentive and nurturing care for two young children
- Supporting the children's daily routines, development, and wellbeing
- General housekeeping, including cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing, and maintaining an organised home
- Ensuring the home is presented to the family's high standards at all times
- Preparing children's meals and assisting with meal preparation where required
- Running occasional household errands as needed
- Working collaboratively with the parents to ensure the smooth running of the household
- Travelling with the family within the UK and internationally if required (desirable but not essential)
Family cooking would be an advantage but is not essential.
