Our UHNW client based in Holland Park is seeking to recruit a highly experienced, flexible, and organised Rota Manny/Nanny to care for their 10-year-old boys, including a child with complex special needs. This is a fully staffed household, and the successful candidate must be confident working collaboratively within a professional team.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for providing attentive, nurturing, and developmentally focused care for the children, ensuring a safe and supportive environment both at home and during travel. One of the children presents with severe Autism and behavioural needs, so it is essential you are calm, patient, and experienced in managing outbursts with empathy and skill.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering consistent, 24/7 care during rota weeks (1–2 weeks on/off with flexibility required)
  • Sleeping with monitor in case he wakes
  • Supporting the children’s emotional well-being and positive development through nurturing, structured care
  • Managing schedules, school runs, activities, and medical appointments
  • Liaising closely with teachers, therapists, tutors, and medical professionals
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the children’s personal areas
  • Encouraging independence and responsibility (eg, tidying up after themselves)
  • Administering medication and adhering to guidance from the medical team
  • Providing clear, written, and verbal handovers at the end of each shift
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK and internationally, including stays on yachts
  • Ad hoc errands and duties related to the children

Candidate Requirements

  • SEN experience is essential, particularly with severe Autism and behavioural challenges
  • Experience in fully staffed, high-profile private households in a rota capacity
  • Emotionally intelligent, nurturing, calm under pressure, and affectionate in approach
  • Highly organised, excellent communicator, and adaptable with schedule and travel
  • Confident swimmer with strong sea legs (yachting experience desirable)
