The role is full-time and hands-on, ideally suited to someone with a polished, discreet approach, and prior experience in a luxury residence or 5-star hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out day-to-day maintenance and repair works throughout the residence
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and plumbing issues, including installations and repairs
- Monitor, service, and maintain mechanical systems, lighting, heating, and water systems
- Undertake regular inspections to ensure all systems and equipment operate at optimal performance
- Coordinate with external contractors and supervise specialist works when required
- Keep accurate records of maintenance issues, repairs, and service schedules
- Ensure all work is completed to exceptional standards with minimal disruption to the household
- Respond efficiently to ad-hoc maintenance requests, particularly when principals are in residence
- Provide occasional support outside normal hours or at weekends, as required
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role, ideally within a luxury private residence or 5-star hotel
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems; gas certification is advantageous
- Professional, reliable, and highly discreet
