A lovely family living in St John's Wood are seeking a well-educated and experienced live-in Nanny/Manny. This professional couple have 3 young children - a new-born, 5 & 8 year old. The family also have a small dog and cat.
The couple are ideally looking for someone fun, outgoing, and flexible, to supplement their small domestic team of staff, but most importantly become one of the family. Both children attend two very good schools and are highly academic, so it is important that you are degree educated to be able to help support them with their studies.
You will also be responsible for liaising with the schools and the children’s teachers to ensure that the parents are informed of progress and extracurricular activities. A typical working day will start around 6:45am (ensuring that the 2 older children are up and ready for school), you will then have a 3-hour break, and then starting again around 12:30pm through to 8:30pm in the evening.
All nursery duties apply, along with the following, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the morning and evening routine
- School drop off and pick up
- Helping with school projects and homework
- Engaging the children in fun and educational activities and tailoring this to their interests
- Managing the children’s diaries – extracurricular activities, playdates, health appointments etc
- Wardrobe management
- Light cooking – the family do employ a chef
- Travel - the family travel regularly in the school holidays, as they have a second home in Croatia. Although during the summer months you will not be required to accompany the family for the whole 8 weeks
