Our client, who resides in Hyde Park, is looking for an experienced and professional Live-in Butler to work alongside the current household staff in a formal household. The ideal candidate will offer seamless support in all aspects of personal service and day-to-day coordination. This is a part-time residence, and the family are looking for somebody who can ensure the smooth running of the house when they are not in residence.
Duties to include:
- Meeting and greeting guests
- All aspects of food and drink service for lunch and dinner parties
- Inventory and stock management
- Care for silver, china, crystal, art
- Table settings / floral arranging
- Running household errands
- Management of the house – liaising with tradesmen etc
- Valeting, packing and unpacking
- Wardrobe management, ironing, polishing shoes etc
Candidate Requirements:
- Positive attitude
- Flexibility
- Available to work weekends
- At least 8-10 years’ experience in private households with verifiable references
Accommodation: Separate bedroom with en-suite in the main residence
Salary: Please present salary expectation
Working Days: 5 days per week
Working hours: 8.00am-5.00pm when the principal is not in residence, flexible hours when principal is in residence
