Job Description:
Our clients, with a large residence in Belgravia, London, are looking for an experienced Russian speaking Handyman/Driver to assist with the upkeep of their property.
They are looking for someone who is discreet, hardworking, friendly, and professional. Someone who is enthusiastic, committed, and eager to take on the responsibilities of the role would be well-suited to the position. The Handyman/Driver would be required for properties in and around Knightsbridge, Mayfair, and Surrey. This is a live-out role, ideally suited to a proactive and hands-on individual who is bilingual in Russian and English.
Duties and responsibilities:
Proactive and reactive maintenance across portfolio of properties. Duties will include but not limited to:
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Basic plumbing
- Decorating
- Plastering
- Painting
- Moving furniture
- Sourcing and arranging specialists where necessary
- Pond maintenance/cleaning
- Basic machinery repairs
- Driving in and around central London, Surrey and occasional trips abroad by car
- Overseeing household maintenance, general condition and operations works
- Overseeing maintenance and timely servicing of systems and equipment
- Taking care of the estate territory, buildings, tools and machinery
- Doing basic gardening, repairs and refurbishment works
- Working in collaboration with household staff (housekeepers, cleaners, gardeners, security staff)
- Caring and arranging caring for household pets
- Ensuring the household is fully stocked at all times and shopping for all required household items
- Running household errands
- Arranging maintenance and servicing of estate cars
- Other ad hoc duties as directed
Personal characteristics:
- Russian speaker
- Good level of spoken English preferred
- Must be a good team player
- Self-motivated
- Enthusiastic and keen to adapt to different projects
- Clean UK driving licence is a requirement
Start date: Immediate start
Working hours/days: 40 hours per week, mainly Monday-Friday, 9.00am–5.00pm, but some flexibility is essential
Salary: Salary: £42,000+ per annum depending on experience plus benefits
