We are seeking a professional and experienced Housekeeper to join a fully staffed, formal household in Regent’s Park. The property is a beautifully presented 4-storey, 5-bedroom home, with three adjoining mews properties also requiring maintenance. The family consists of a couple, their two children, and a dog. Extended family occasionally stay in one of the mews houses.
The household is run to 7-star boutique hotel standards, and the successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional housekeeping skills and a meticulous eye for detail. There is a Laundress employed, so while the role is predominantly focused on housekeeping, light laundry duties may be required at weekends.
This is a team environment: you’ll be joining four other Housekeepers, alongside a Butler and Lady’s Maid, all reporting to the Private Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Housekeeping to a consistently high standard across all properties
- Cleaning and maintaining three additional mews houses
- Light laundry duties (primarily weekends)
- Responding to direct requests from the family
- Working as part of an established team of housekeepers and other household staff
- Occasional travel with the family (approx. twice annually)
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in formal, fully staffed private households is essential
- Excellent attention to detail and presentation
- Proactive and professional with a discreet manner
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Comfortable working in a household with children and a dog
- Flexibility to cover all required shifts and occasional travel
